2004 cc Titan Vs 2004 Ford F350 Diesel w/chip

Do you think I can do it? I know those diesels are heavy but with that chip in the 6.0 it really wakes them up. I would love to be able to at least hang with him if not beat him. The only mod that I have is a 2* timing advance... Any thoughts or previous kills?

No idea but he's going to shift 900 times before you hit 60 so I think you'll do fine.

I've never tried one, but here's my guess. I think you're going to be left behind in one big black cloud of smoke I'm sorry to say. Even with that weight, the HUGE torque those pull will make up for it I think. Let us know though! Good luck!

Re: 2004 cc Titan Vs 2004 Ford F350 Diesel w/chip

Dooo it, dooo it. My boss has one (I don't know if it's chipped) but he always gives me shi+ about ricers. Then again, he spent twice what I did. I've been in them and they could pull a house but they are geared really low so they'll be shifting a lot. If he can't drive who knows, you might take him. But I promise you this, he could pull you around all day.

Re: 2004 cc Titan Vs 2004 Ford F350 Diesel w/chip

I raced a guys last week from a roll. I was turning left onto a 4 lane road out of a Shopping mall and entered the center lane (turn lane) and merged knowing that the 2 lanes going my direction would be merging in about a 1/2 mile. As I merged onto the lanes this guy in a 4*4 f350 (I saw it thru the passenger side window) rolls up next to me and jumps it. I looked over and saw the smoke rolling out and knew it was on. At about 35 I hit it and pulled about 1/2 a truck on him till about 55 then he was stuck at my rear bumper and maybe coming at 80 when I was ahead at the merge and let off- black smoke cloud behind us the whole time. Never saw the rear of the truck but by the smoke, he had a chip. From a dead stop you got him, a roll, get the jump quick or top end your in trouble.
