This is great news. Been waiting over a year now. And the Amsoil is cheaper than Nissan J-matic. Now we can run 100K or more on the tranny oil.

This is good news bt my dealership will only put Matic J in. They won't use bottles either for a flush just pump it out of a drum.

So where else can I go to have this flush done? As it is right now I believe the cost is $360 to have it done, I think it was almost $200 for fluids alone. I don't have that kind of cash laying around for an oil change at 32k. Anyone know where I can get this flush done cheaper?

I told my dealership to do a tranny flush 30k and they told me they wont steal my money like that they said they have been doing oil analsys at 60k to see if a flush is needed. maybe I will just do a couple of drain and fills instead.

I scheduled a appt at the dealer for a trany flush at 30K. They told me $135, Okay sound good. They came back to me 30 minutes later and said they couldn't do a flush because they didn't have a J matic machine set up and that all they could do was a 4qt drain and fill for $135. I bought the fluid and did that myself. I have the canceled order sheet stating they didn't have the right equipment. Goofballs!!

Just had my tranny flushed with amsoil. Put 100 miles on it today no problems. Smooth shift will let you know after I tow all week long if it runs any cooler. The case states right on it matic j , g ,d, abcdef opps that I was singing the alphabet. Anyways seems o.k. We flushed 12 qts thru it the old stuff did not look bad at all. I figured with about 1000 miles a month of towing for the last 19 months it would be worse will keep you all posted

I have a friend that runs a jiffy lube so I had them do it. I like the machine they use to flush the whole tranny plus I can't see what they are doing at the dealer. There are some things I like to see being done and thats one of them.

I just paid 13.73 per qt for the matic j.....lol! I needed 12 quarts in a new tranny 173 w/tax thank you very much!!!! Ouch!
