Tru Trac Part Number????

Does anyone have the part # for the Tru Trac Locker for our trucks?

Any suggestions on where to buy it from?

I've read the other thread about install price: typically $200-300, but didn't see any part numbers listed.

Thanks in Advance.

Re: Tru Trac Part Number????

I believe that the carrier bearing part numbers are:

I believe that you need two of each of the following:

Tapered Roller Bearings - Timken JLM704610 (race or cup)

Tapered Roller Bearings JLM704649 - Timken (bearing)

I strongly suggest call these guys to make sure these are the correct part numbers:

The absolute best way to install is to also replace the axle seals, which requires replacing the outer bearings and associated snap rings. Of course if you get the TruTrac installed w/o new seals (The service manual says that the seals must be replaced any time you pull the axle shafts)and the seals start leaking, the dealer might not remove the rear diff cover and discover the TruTrac, and proceed with warranty replacement of the axle seals and outer bearings. (a little bird told me that)

Re: Tru Trac Part Number????

Has anybody had the Truetrac installed in the Atlanta area, and if so where? How much did they charge and do you feel you were properly taken care of?

Thanks!
