I think my shifter is fixed

Got my truck back from the dealer today after they had it for a week trying to figure out why I couldn't get it into reverse or park. It finaly got so bad it wouldn't come out of park. They ended up replacing the whole shifter but it still didn't fix it. Then they changed a solenoid that actuated a saftey mechanism where I could move the shifter from park. Hope its fixed for good.

That solenoid is one of the first things to check for that failure. Intermittant problems make it difficult sometimes. Common failure on variety of vehicles when they get real old.

Glad they got it fixed correctly, even if it did take a second attempt. Enjoy the freedom to Shift_Titan again!
