fluid change parts needed?

Hey guys,

I'm about to change out the fluids in both diffs and my transfer case. Can you guys tell me if I'll need any crush washers or anything like that to complete this?

Thanks,

More to come!

Here is my friends Rav4 for comparison. The first pic doesn't do the lift justice!

Re: fluid change parts needed?

I can't remember! I think you might need some does not hurt to keep some on hand anyways. I don't believe you need them for the Diffs but maybe for the transfer case I can't recall.

I used Permatex Temp Thead Sealant for the diffs (High Temp I think).

You will want an Oil Pump for the front diff, they sell them at Autozone near the oil section.

I had to cut some tubing I had laying around and stick it on the end to suck the last 1/4th out of the bottles it was kind of stupid but it worked. Probably time to do your Transfer Case as well, good call, mine was much worse than the Diffs. I used Mobile1 ATF for that.
