Cam profile information 2004 vs 2008 & my project...

Just looking through the '04 and '08 manuals, I see they made a cam profile and lift change from '04 to '08 models... I wanted to see where the extra claimed HP was coming from... they also added I believe VTC but only on one cam.

See attached cam chart:
'04 profile:
(a)232° (b)230° (c)2° (d)48° (e)3° (f)49°
Camshaft cam height “A” Intake & Exhaust
44.465 - 44.655 (1.7506 - 1.7581)

'08 profile:
(a)244° (b)232° (c)-8° (d)60° (e)10° (f)54°
Camshaft cam height “A”
Intake 44.865 - 45.055 (1.7663 - 1.7738)
Exhaust 45.075 - 45.265 (1.7746 - 1.7821)

What I am working on: Wiring in the titan components to my 240SX. Finishing up the oil pan oil lines, and pickup tube. Making the intake piping.

Researching: '07 G35 sedan valvebody interchange with the titan 5AT, and also what it will take to use the paddle shift assembly with the titan trans. I have confirmation that the valvebody is interchangable.(obviously different internally I'm sure) But since this is going in a 240sx, it is more likely that the G35 VB wil be better suited to the weight and shift performance I'm looking for.

In addition to the cam, the other changes were the porting of the intake and changing the "Y" pipe exhaust to a dual in muffler design. The extra HP is probably a combination of all of the above.

I am really going to work on nissan providing me some parts to mess with on the paddle shift... I will keep people posted, but its not top priority, as there are so many things to do just to get this thing running first...
