I spoke with a company corr motorsports in lake elsinore ca and they told me they have gears for the titan, i really didnt believe them but he assured me they do, the cost is $750 installed with a 2 year warranty against failure, i know a bunch of people are interested and i asked him for a group buy, he said $700 if several people want them, he also said they have done several titans he said they have 456's and 411's. the 456's are on back order for 2 weeks and i had him order me a set and will post back after i get them installed. i also spoke with a company that is building gears for the titan (alloy gears) based out of corona ca, they said 12 weeks till release. has anyone done buisiness with corr motorsports couse i am pretty skeptical about dropping my truck off with him telling me they have gears and no one on the forums have them
If they're serious, tell them about TitanTalk.com and have them register. Then have them come on the boards and advertise the gears themselves. We've all heard "gears are coming soon" far too many times.
If this is true then the wife will not be happy. She knows that no one makes gears for the titan. She told me I can get new wheels and 37's when gears come out for our trucks. I so want her to eat her words. I love her but man women sure now how to push our buttons. At the end of the day when she walks out of the bathroom in nothing but a t-shirt, all is forgiven.

I wish several guys would swap gears, I'm dying to see how the PCM deals with the change...

You might want to ask them to tell you how many teeth will be on the ring gear and especially how many will be on the pinion gear.
The Titan diff is a variant of the D-44, as we all know. Even though it has a 9 inch ring gear as opposed to the 8.5 in the D-44, and has more splines on the axles, it is still a relatively small diff for the power of the truck. Gearing lower will most probably reduce the number of teeth on the pinion gear. This really weakens a differential. You can get away with that in a 3,000 lb. car with a diff bigger than needed to begin with. But in a 5,000 truck with a marginal diff, gearing lower and adding taller and heavier tires, might be asking for trouble.
Just one opinion.

I will call them tommorrow as soon as I wake up, I have never heard of them and with PRG and my suspension guy being from this area and not ever hearing of gears is a little weird...

Do you realize that with your Transmission Gearing that 4.56 gears will equal over a 5.20:1 final drive gear??????
Unless you are doing some rock crawling...you better re-think that.
Not to mention....your going to piss the TCM off in the truck. The speed sensors will read things the tranny knows it shouldn't be readins and think there is a problem.

I called Greg with PRG and he has a Ford 9" with 4:10 gears and 37" he said it works out pretty good. With my 38's I'm all for some 4:56's!!! I just need a number to call this place if someone has it?
