Today a Black No Fear CC SC Titan in Houston is down as well. Sitting outside Baker Jacksons parking lot waiting for a tow truck to haul it back to Dallas for repair.
Call IPT they say they can build but it will cost $3800.00

Too many mods to list PM me I'll tell ya.
I've burnt up 3 trannies. 2 of them had the Stillen VB upgrade last 1 didn't. So we uninstalled the charger last weekend. I was custom tuned and didn't use the piggy back.
I'm shocked John hasn't gone through a Tranny...it don't appear the tranny likes all that torque.

HEY GUYS GOT AN UPDATE. i'm back and running i got my third tranny in as of 6/30/07 and like i told RB's it is brand new out of the box and it was programmed by the trans shop who installed it. apparently you can set these trannys up to some of the parameters that your engine will produce. i'm still working on the details but i will try to keep everybody informed.
are all you guys getting these replaced under warranty?

They claim to have programmed it??????? Need more info! I'm sure the TCM can be told the torque curve....and better pressurize itself for it.

thease things are not being covered under warranty. that's the part that really blows. but i'm still trying to get all info on the programming, just had a rough week at work so bear with me and i should have an update hopefully by thursday.
Hey Soto. When they replace the trans., do they replace the coolers also. Because on more than one occasion, I have known of more than one Nissan replacement trans. destroying itself real soon after replacement due to a partially blocked cooler. I don't know how bad these trucks are about stopping up the cooler because I have never had to replace one for this. Just saying when these things come apart, the cooler catches a lot of the debris, and can't be flushed very well, if at all. I have stopped a lot of my repeat trans. replacement business just by replacing the cooler. A lot of people will suggest that you just flush the cooler but that doesn't work the majority of the time. If one of you get a chance, take and cut one in half and look at the small passages, you will see what I am talking about.
