2008 Titan

I know almost nothing about mechanics. My question is...does the 2008 with a bigger axle automatically get a different rear differential? Or is it possible they kept the one that is having so many problems. This will decide weather I pursue a 2008 or just keep my 2006.

26 views. Anybody have any hard evidence one way or the other?
How many on this board have 2008`s that might be able to confirm a difference or not?

Would be nice, but isn't true. The '08 has the same D44 housing that all previous Titan models have had. Now what has changed internally remains to be seen.

Re: 2008 Titan

If Nissan had fixed the problem they would be bragging about it. They won't even admit a problem exists. I was at my dealer, Streater-Smith in Conroe, Tx, and they were trying to get me to trade my 04 for a new 08. I told the Mgr to show me how they fixed the problem differentials for the 08's and I would trade********* I am still driving my 04.
