? for PRG Greg & Others, RE: Dana 50 TTB
I've been told there are no dumb questions so with this as my security I have to ask:
Is the Dana 50 Ford used in thier F250 TTB front diffs compatable with our rear diffs? I read a magazine article which reminded me that they used that 50. Then I remembered that 1 of the reasons Ford made the high-pinion 44 fronts(pre '80) was so that they could use the already-made rear 44 ring & pinion to save costs. Has anybody checked this and if so, to what result?
