Re: Gas Mileage Sucks!

ok then, I get around 13-15 mpg city and 15-19 hwy. My 06 Titan did alittle better in gas milage.

I'm not being smart, alot of people post here about their gas milage, and they get the same answer---its a truck. How many miles do you have on your truck? also the type oil you use, airfilter, tire pressure. I hope this helps

Re: Gas Mileage Sucks!

stickers lie. if you wanna go by that, you'll be complaining on any vehicle you buy. its a big truck, with a lot of power.

there not that many options to get it up. when i put my CAI in, it went up by 1-2mpgs. but there aint much thatll get it any higher than that.

Re: Gas Mileage Sucks!

Yeah, EPA estimates suck...especially on heavy vehicles as they don't do stop and go driving.

The EPA is revising its standards this year or next...I forget which.

Re: Gas Mileage Sucks!

Maybe....but 12-13 for CC 4x4 is actually pretty common...especially with the big gears.

just because your driving habits stay the same does not mean that your driving habits were very efficient to begin with...

Re: Gas Mileage Sucks!

I love these posts where people are complaining about bad gas mileage on a large v8 engine that has to lug a 5500 lb truck around all day. And I might add that it lugs that 5500 lbs around pretty well.
