There's a guy on Orange County Craigs List selling 37" Toyo M/Ts for $600 also.

I just picked up a set of 37" Yokohama Geolander A/TS.....well I ordered them anyway. My buddy runs the 315/70-17 Geolanders and we're both very impressed with the tire. And at $260 a tire for the 37s from Tire Rack they're worth giving a shot.

yeah, that's the same guy. the Yokohama's intrigued me with the 37" tire size but at only a 2ply sidewall, i question its puncture resistance and when tearing thru ragged terrain don't know if i want to find out how resistant they are. but i may keep my eye on them as like you said, at 260 a pop on tirerack, that's a steal for a 37" tire...

Re: TRUETRAC Mag-Hytech Diff Cover AND 3:73 GEARS

You should see the sides of my Toyos. There's chunks missing everywhere. But they hold air. I'm hoping the Yokohamas can hold up to the same abuse. Like I said, my buddy runs the 315 on his and beats the hell out of them and they're holding just fine. And we talked to the Yokohama race team representative and he's running the same tire on his KORE equipped Cummins Ram and he said he's beat them up pretty good in Baja with zero issues. I still think I'm going to buy the certs from America's Tire in case I do poke a stick through the side!

Well, if you can wait, I'll have mine on for the April 13 Barstow gathering. You can check them out there.

Re: TRUETRAC Mag-Hytech Diff Cover AND 3:73 GEARS

OK got to drive the truck home from the dealer in traffic. It performs a lot better not as quick off the line as I expected but much better ( not braking them loose by any means) I need to do some more driving to get a better feel , but my first impression from a dig was nice but? anyway at 30-40 stab it really moves out a lot better all the way to redline before shifting, pulls stronger. maybe after UpRev, off the line will be much better with WOT from 0 mph.

"not as quick"??? but is it substantially better than how it felt/performed??? so i shouldn't waste $$$ and 12 hours of my time to get it done??? wtf??? all the trouble and that's all you can say about the mod???

okay. from your initial post sounds like you're bummed and that perhaps it wasn't worth it and now you're hoping a shot of uprev would help it. personally i don't give a rat's aass about uprev, i just wanna know that with the current horsepower all is well with this mod when stabbing it in the dirt.
