I've got the big tow package and still get bogging in 2nd gear in the sand if I'm not near the top of the rpm's. What is the lowest/highest gear set they can do?

This brings up another problem... Do any of you have problems with the transmission going into 'safe' mode when jumping or going through rough terrain. This happens everytime I'm out in the desert. I'll be in 2nd or 3rd and hit a rough section and the truck jumps into 'D' drive and I am unable to select gears until I stop the truck, put it in park and then back into drive.

I just got off the phone with hoopers 818-899-2515 and they said $550.00 parts and labor for the ring and pinion I supply the truetrac. He said just show up at 8am first come first serve. 1 day job and 3:73 is the lowest ratio they can do.
THANKS loufish & scottyg267

You'll need to get your Truetrac and diff cover if you want them. Hoopers will supply the labor gears and misc. parts for install. I found my parts here.
performanceoffroadcenter gives you $10.00 off if you tell them your a TT member.
