goin on to my 3rd rear end :fu:

Ok well now i just blew out my 2nd rear end the stealership is saying its my ring and pinion gears and it will not be covered with my extended warranty because of my exaust and intake lol so im stuck fixing it and o ya the 05 titan has about 73000 miles on it. What type rear end or differential is it? Also does any one know where i can get the ring and pinion gears because i called the stealership and all they carry is the full rear end not just the individual parts. any input on this is much appreciated.

thanks from a pissed off titan owner but still loven the truck lol

I don't know where to begin with this one...

1. Your exhaust and intake have nothing to do with your rear differential. 2. Do you have Big Tow and eLock?
3. It's a modified Dana 44. If this is the issue, get a TruTrac.
4. No individual parts exist to be sold OEM. Your best bet is at a junkyard.

My larger question is what are you doing that's blowing your rear ends?

damn so it looks like im going to be spending a pretty penny on this. ya the exhaust and intake thing thats what i told them i mean come on and extra maybe at most if ur lucky 40 and that probably exaggerating. by modified what do u mean? could i use the gears from a dana 44 that was in a jeep? and no no big tow or nothing. so with the detroit locker would that make the rear end bullet proof because i dont want to deal with this again for a while. caz so far ive gone threw a rear end every 30000 miles and luckly the last one was covered but this one will not be thanks to Baker jackass nissan. lol i hate the dealership.

You really should talk to another dealer!!! Changing the exhaust should not affect the driveline warranty!

You can't use the jeep gears, Titan gears are different!!

TruTrac will not help a ring and pinion problem. Might find a diff with spiders gone and install a TruTrac if the R&P is good.
