My truck has VDC but I would like to shut it off sometimes and dont have the button for it, is there another way I can shut it off, I asked Nissan to install a on/off button but they said because the truck didnt have it factory, they wont do it, any help would be great, thanks alot!
Are you sure you have VDC? If the "VDC" light isn't in your instrument cluster, you don't have VDC. If the dealership runs your VIN, they can tell if VDC is really there. Otherwise, the switch plugs into nothing. I went through this to discover I only had ABLS, which in my opinion turns out to be a good and bad thing. To my knowledge, ABLS can't be turned off at all. I hope that this helps to ease your mind because it is frustrating not having control of things like VDC, ABLS and improving MPG...smiling.

And why do you think your truck has the VDC option?

well everytime the tires start to spin the engine basically shuts down and the light flashes in the cluster, like it used to do with my 05 x terra, but the x terra has the vdc button

The Titans have ABLS which tries to keep one wheel from spinning faster then the other, when it senses one wheel slipping it flashes "SLIP" on the dash and applies the brakes to the spinning wheel.
If you have the brakes already on like trying to do a brakestand, the truck will cut back power...

Wow! If you're that sensitive, and you feel any of the responses were in the least bit harsh, then I don't think internet forums are your cup of tea....
You asked, you got answers. No one berated you, nor was anyone in the least bit harsh, IMO. If you feel otherwise, address it with a moderator or grow a skin.... Your choice. I recommend growing a skin... You'll need it as you go through life.....
