Air conditioner, compressor, drier. HELP!!
Ok, I need some help from you techinical guys. Brought the truck in today to dealership for few things, A/C recharge, etc. Got a call compressor is shot and they have to replace drier with it. $1500. After fighting with them because I have 21k but warranty went out last october I am stuck. Went online and I can get a new compressor for about $200 compared to their $437, but wanted to know if an drier and accumulator are seperate? Found a drier/accumulator for $55, dealer wanted $400. Can someone give me a breakdown, I am going to try and replace myself. Any pics would help. Thanks in advance!!

They are separate items.

Do you have someone to recover the refrigerant from the truck? It's pretty simple to replace the parts but you'll need to pull vacuum once you get it all together and then charge the system.
