Frame Question

Hey guys I'm new to this forum but I have a quick question. I just bought a 2004 Titan SE and I had a really bad experience with the dealer. I recently tried to install some lights behind the grill and when I took the grill out I noticed how the way the frame on the front looked. Is this normal or it's bent. See picture. Please let me know

Re: Frame Question

hmm... walleeme's pic has the grill in there and doesn't show the part you are concerned about. I will take a look at mine as well.

Re: Frame Question

doesn't look right to me man. I just looked at my 07' and it doesn't have that bend in it. Judging from your pic I'd say the frame took an impact. Notice how the 2 creases in the frame align perfectly with the framing of the bumper? Just my opinion tho, I could be wrong since I'm just looking at one photo. You should try to get a couple more shots, maybe one from below and some close ups of that weld across the top of the frame.
When I get home for lunch, I'll look at the wifes 04' and see if the frame is any different.

Re: Frame Question

It has been hit, for sure! Mine looks nowhere near that.

Re: Frame Question

I want to thank every one for your replies. I'll try to take it back to the dealer (we'll see what they have to say) but looking at the facts they pretty much mest up. Even the Certificate Check list had the frame part checked as OK.
