Drove my truck from Tucson-Phoenix and back a week ago. That's the longest drive I have taken since lifting it. I noticed on my way there and back I would be doing about 80mph and the truck wanted to downshift. Ever since I have been back home it's been running crappy, climbing a tiny hill the truck is running a higher rpm, downshifts are more frequent and even normal shifts sometimes seem sloppy. Anyone encounter this or have an idea, I need help.. Thanks
Try an ECU reset, can't hurt anything. Check your tranny fluid.
How many miles on your rig?

How and where do you check the screen, I have had the lift for 1 1/2 years. I did remember I have driven just as far one other time about a year ago and there was no problems
Don't know the terrain or your tire size but with larger tires and hilly terrain your trany will have a hard time holding 5th or keeping the TQ convertor locked. You say the engineis running crappy, maybe some watered down gas.
resetting ECU might help.

ECU reset done, little or no improvement, been running 35" mud terrains for 1 1/2 and now all of the sudden, this is happening. I'm on my second tank of gas, so I don't know if that's it. Anything else, also why would torque converter just start acting up, is that normal
