Re: Engine, Transmission.. HELP

This last reply, maybe this is it. This maybe be in my head but it seems the K & N is working harder. I have noticed it sounds like it is sucking more air. Also may be linked was today, (twice it happen). Stopped at a light got on it to pass someone and I could smell exhaust, haven't noticed that before.

Re: Engine, Transmission.. HELP

Since I did clean the filter with compressed air, is there anything I can do to fix it.

Anything can be fixed if you have enough $$$. As far as particles in your intake, it depends on how much for how long. Is your oil dirty? Perhaps you should get it analyzed to see if your engine has ingested too much stuff.

Check out Blackstone.

Re: Engine, Transmission.. HELP

I use Mobil 1, changed it every 3-4K miles and it does come out a little dirty. It has always been a little dirty even before I started having this problem.

If you get you oil analyzed it will tell you if too much has been getting past your air filter.

Yes, you should be able to find one at Auto Zone, Advanced, etc. for about $50.00. You might want to call first to see if they have them in stock.
