Exclamation 4wd Warning Light Coming On...

The 4WD warning light is coming on and staying on. No flashing and it only happens once in a while. bought the truck used and no extended warranty. has 32000 miles on it. i have not even had the opportunity to get it off the pavement much yet. i don't want to get into a situation that i need 4wd and not have it to my disposal.

1. Any one have this happen? Is there anything I need to do to fix it or take it to the dealer?

2. If this has happened to any of you, what did it turn out to be and was it covered under just the manufacturers warranty?

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Should still be under warranty. Take it to the dealer.

Take to dealer.

Hopefully it's something simple, could be a blown FD or TC
