Clunk when gettin on it

When I am stopped and hit the pedal to the metal as I take off it sounds like I have heavy box's in the back of my truck sliding around and hitting my tailgate. Its kind of a simultenous clunk...clunk..clunk. I tightened up my spare. Any Ideas out there?

Re: Clunk when gettin on it

If you have the cargo tie down rails in the bottom of your bed and have the rubber slide covers on, the slide back and forward when you take off and make a heck of a noise. A lot of folks have had the same problem.
