These differentials have been a disaster since they came out in 04. I have an 04 and have my 4th differential in now. I had hoped that the 08's were fixed when they updated the axle size and did some bearing changes. Evidently, there are still problems. I have had many trucks and this is the first differential problem I have ever had. I don't do a lot of towing so maybe that is why I have never had problems. I would tell Nissan to get that diff out and give me a new one. I would not let them start tearing into it with a new truck with those part swappers they call technicians.

Re: Rear end input seal!!!

I haven't noticed a leak, or any moisture in the area, but I only have about 4k miles on mine. I will however crawl under there tomorrow and take a real close gander.
