Diff. fluid change

I have a 05 B/T Titan 4x4 with 30,000 miles. I tow my TT and a utility trailer about 2-3 times a year. I ordered some Amsoil Diff. fluid (front and rear) to replace the stock fluid. Do I need to include any of the Amsoil Limited slip additive to the gear fluids when changed? How much fluid does the front and rear hold? Thanks for any imput.

Re: Diff. fluid change

According to the AMSoil web site:
Automatic Transmission, Total Fill
5 speed RE5R05A..........11.0 quarts
Differential, Rear..........4.4 pints
Differential, Front..........3.4 pints
Transfer Case,..........4.2 pints

TORQUES
Oil Drain Plug.....25 ft-lbs
Transfer case
Fill Plug.....26 ft-lbs
Drain Plug.....26 ft-lbs

You could measure out exactly what is called for above. But it's just easier to fill it until it just barely starts to leak out the fill plug.

I don't believe there is any need for additive in the read differential. My Ranger calls for additive but only because it has plates in the limited slip differential.

No need for the limited slip additive, as the Titan does not offer a LSD diff.
