Hey guys we have a Titan here at the shop and it has a blown carrier bearing seal. I'm looking for a part number or where we can get another one with no luck. Can you guys help?

Re: Carrier Bearing

I think we have a failure in communication, carrier bearing seal? Do you mean pinion seal? The carrier bearing is #19 and has no seal, the closest thing to a carrier bearing seal would be an axle shaft seal.

Yeah, the part number I listed above is for the pinion seal.

Re: Carrier Bearing

I would like to add further confusion. Maybe he is referring to the center bearing for the driveshaft. I have read references to "carrier bearing drop bracket" in connection with people doing lifts.

Right, I just want to make sure we're all on the same page. He could mean the outer shaft bearing and axle shaft seal, which is common. Guess we'll just wait and see what number he picks. This is kind of like playing the lottery...or bingo...

Re: Carrier Bearing

Must be for the LWB Titan, because my '05 is a single driveshaft with no such bearing/support.

2wd has them

4x4 has a shorter rear driveshaft because of the transfer case.
