rear axle leaking

Need help--I have a 2005 nissan titan 2wd that just turned over 92,000 miles and noticed that I have fluid leaking on rear driverside axle. Does anyone have pictures of how the axle comes apart. My truck has disc brakes not drums-is there a difference in the axles.

You must have the extended power train warranty.

hey, iI have the same problem with my 2006, 90.000 miles and both sies are leaking. I found the following on my search for a manual. Free Chilton Repair Manuals Online - Nissan Forums: Nissan Altima Forum. This fella posted a link to chilton online, it works. I just printed out the exploded view and instructions to fix mine. It also has all the TSB's listed.

Check it out.

Good luck

This has been covered oh....about 100 times...

Try a search for "axle leaks" for the many threads about this...if that falls flat, then try again, I'll be glad to help...
