What do you guys think? I'm gonna head down to Hoopers in a couple weeks and i'm still trying to decide which ratio to go with. It's a daily driver and doesn't see much dirt right now, but it will in about a year once i get my suspension done. I've got 35's, who here has experiences with either? Thanks.

that's what i'm thinking too, but i'm afraid it might be too much for a truck i drive all the time, and my gas mileage is horrible as it is and it's only gonna get worse while i floor it everywhere
yeah but while you dont floor it it will be have better mpg and you wont have to floor it as much to get that get up and go.. hahah thats one of the reasons im doing 4.56 gears

lol, you're a braver man than me. 4.56's are a little too low for me, maybe if i had 40's. i'll probably end up going with the 4.11's. it's gonna be too hard to wait, i might have to call them and go on tue or wed.

Would this be similar to say a Mustangs RPMs...etc? I'm not sure how the trans gearing is different...etc..etc If it is like a Mustang, without a power adder I'd do 4.10s/4.11s. Once I put a power adder in my Mustang I would rather have different.
Anyway, that's if you want that extra performance. If you're concerned about high RPMs, maybe exhaust being too loud for trips and gas mileage 3.73s or stock would be better IMO.

It won't be similar in rpm's compared to a mustang, at least i don't think so. I forget what my rpms were with 4.30's. The transmission gears are different and aren't affected at all by changing out the rear end gears. I think i'm gonna go with 4.11's. I don't want to be regretting it down the line and i know i will with the 3.73. Don't Fear the Gear!
First off...my truck has gotten terrible mileage since day one...The best it ever did was 15.5 mpg with the CC set at 72 mph going to Vegas...That was with B/Tow gears and 34.5" tires...
I went back to 33" tires very shortly after that...
I then added the Cortex 91 oct tow tune...lost more mileage(about 1 mpg) but picked up big power....
Then I went with a set 3.73's (and TT of course...) and I picked up more power out of the hole and 5th gear performance got downright happy...Great towing gear for 33" tires!
I just recently switched to big heavy 35" tires...I didn't lose much out of the hole, but I lost my "happy" 5th gear tow performance...
A set of 3.73 gears with a set of true 35" tires is the same overall gearing as stock Big Tow with stock 32" tires...about 30 rpm difference..
So...If you have the non-tow gears and 35" tires, never plan on towing, then 3.73's will be a nice step-up for you...but if you ever plan on towing or do a lot hills and grades then go for the 4.11's..
If you run 33" tires and plan on staying there, the 3.73's will be a great tow/play gear...
Last note....Many of you guys are younger and started driving in a world where all vehicles have OD trannys...My last V-8 truck was a 2wd Pre-runner with "just" 3 gears, no OD and I ran 4.10's and only 33" tires...Which meant at 70 mph, I'd was running about 2900 rpm...and that was a big block 460...Thank god I didn't run a tach....
