I've hear that the switch is harder to install than the foglights.

Re: Steering column and fog lights?

Once you take the steering column apart, there's two little tabs on the stalk it self, one on top and one at the bottom. Press them and the whole thing just slide out, insert the new one till it click in position.

Re: Steering column and fog lights?

I did it in my '06. It was pretty easy but a little nerve wracking because I was taking apart the interior of my new truck!! .

Once you pry out the dummy plates the lights slip right in. Tighten the nuts, plug in the connectors and that part is done.

Removing three screws and a little tugging is all that is necessary to get the steering cover off. Pry the clip back to get the old switch out. Put the new one in and cuss a little to get the column cover back into place so the cover lines up properly.

The directions that came with my kit were pretty good.

Re: Steering column and fog lights?

Well I bought them on e-bay and called the place to pay for them the next day. Here it's a Nissan dealer in Texas. I go them plus shipping cheaper then the local dealer. They told me they will throw instructions in. I feel better about it now. Thanks everyone.
