I tried it, it works. First you need all of the transmitters ready because you have to clear the code and that will erase the existing codes programmed.
Enter car, close all doors. Insert and remove key from ignition 6 times within 10 seconds. The hazard lights will flash to confirm original code has been erased. Turn the ignition to the ACC position. Press any button on the first transmitter. Hazard lights will flash to confirm programming. To enter additional transmitters, unlock then lock the doors using the power lock switch on the drivers door. Press any key on the second transmitter, the hazard lights will flash to confirm programming. Repeat the unlock then lock step to program additional transmitters. When finished, open drivers door, then remove key. You can have a max. of 4 transmitters per car.

The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to 1BadTitan For This Useful Post:
I recently purchased a keyless entry pad and after programming that, both of my key fobs stopped working. I did the steps above and got all three devices working.
I used this to program my Key Fob I bought off ebay. My old one would only work sometimes. It would usually only work after the truck had been sitting a while. Got a new one and programmed it a couple weeks ago, now it's doing it again. I wonder what is going wrong since I know its not the Key Fobs...maybe I should start a thread
Yet another fine example of how TT has come to save the day. I've been having a long road of bad luck in my life lately. This is at least one thing I no longer have to worry about. Thanks!!!

It worked on my XE with keyless entry...You can make the horn honk or not honk when you lock it if you hold the lock/unlock buttons down at the same time for a few seconds. Follow the instructions on the link I posted above, it worked for me, if it doesn't work for you then I don't know what to tell you. I think you have to be very deliberate and having the timing down pretty good for it to work, although I did it on my second try
