I have done this exact same thing on my sentra (fog light go on with parking lights). b15sentra.net used to have a step by step process for it. You might look there along with the sevice manual and compare. I remember it was pretty simple for the sentra - jumping the power from the parking light fuse to the fog light fuse under the hood.
I chose to wire my fog lights directly to a switch so they work independently of everything else and can use them whenever I want, even when the truck is off and the key is out and the headlights are turned off (like for pitching a tent at a camp site in the dark) .
i didnt know that having fog lights on was a requirement to "pitch a tent", ill have to give this a try and see if it works. lol.
Hmm, I just pulled the mod from my x this morning (bye bye x!), where I had the fog come on anytime the key was in the switch, but it also went through the fog switch so you could defeat it if you needed. (like at the dealer)
This way I had fogs (more like DRL) anytime I drove, which seemed to help prevent getting cut off so much (maybe not such a prob in the Titan, eh?). I also knew if I walked off and left my keys in the truck, and had fogs whenever I wanted. True, fogs and highs are illegal in TX, but I dont normally use highs. Plus the circuits (In the X) are separately fused and relayed.. and not in the same light assembly.
OK, but since I have an xe, maybe I can't do it this way.. hell do I even have a smart/body control module in an xe?

hmm...what kind of mod was that? I now have a X as a second rig.

Just go over to the TUNFS site. Search for fogs. There is an easy steering column procedure for both the Frontier and Xterra to have the fogs come on with the parking lights. Can't be too different for the Titan/Armada.

The issue is you need to find the relays for the fogs. Once you do that, get a meter, and have someone turn on and off the headlights LIGHTS only, to find which wire going into the relay has 12v when the lights are on and the fogs switched to off. Once you find only one wire doing this, that is the wire you need to cut and reroute to the parking light.
I did the write up for b15sentra.net. I own that site. I just haven;t had the time to do it on the Titan yet.
I'll do it Sunday, I've been thinkingh it for a while. That does sound right.
Did you get a chance to do it yet?? I'm curios to wether or not this is the trick.
On a side note 1BadTitan, I figured out the trick to seperate the Titan's headlights easily. I tried the standard baking methods and you were right, it wasn't working too good. However, what I found was it just needed to be hotter for longer than most headlights. I baked it at 300 degree's for 20 minutes and when I pulled it out of the oven the back peeled right off with little effort. And the extra heat did not harm the light at all. Just FYI.
Good deal. The fog light project got pushed off, I installed my new alarm yesterday and today its snowing, maybe tomorrow or wednesday if it clears up.

There's the wire up on an sentra. I did this to my brothers SE-R Spec-V. It was real easy and the fog lights go on with the OEM switch with out having to have the parking lights on.

I don't have Fog lights on my titan yet. I noticed behind the covers were the fog lights would go there is a plug-in looks like it is pre-wired ? Dealer told me fog light kit would cost 200.00 is that decent price?
All you need is a meter, relay, crimpers, crimps, a little wire, and presto, done.
Test the wires for the headlights. Wire from the high beam to the relay. Put a ground to the relay. Next, wire from the hot on the battery to the relay, then to the positive on the fogs. Whenever the headlights or high beam goes on, boom, you have fogs. I'd also put an inline fuse near battery.
