Film on windshield

My wife has gone through an automatic car wash that has left a nasty film on the windshield. It will not wash off, and at night you can see small water spots all over it, and there is a terrible glare that makes it hard to see. How can I get it off? Windex won't do it.

Re: Film on windshield

50/50 mix of white vinegar and water. I went through the same situation.

Re: Film on windshield

Whenever I want to get water spots off my windshield I use one of those Mr. Clean magic erasure. Takes all the spots off then go over with some Stoners Invisible Glass
