Removing Lower Utili-Track Tray

My new Titan came with a lower Utili-Track Sliding Tray, but unfortunately did not come with any instructions on how to remove it. From what I can tell, the only way to get the tray's mounting bars out of the Utili-Track system is to remove the truck's tailgate. Otherwise, they will not come all the way out before hitting the tailgate.

I'm I completely missing something here, or is that the only way to remove the brackets that hold the tray in???

PS If you wanna buy the tray, it's for sale.

This has been discussed before. If you gently bend the tray's part that slides in the tracks, it will come out.
