I used the dental floss on a dealer badge today. Then I used my wife's thumb to get the sticky tape residue off.

I want to take my 4X4 stickers off too.

But here is a stupid question.
If I trade the truck do I need to put them back on so the dealer knows it has off road package? Or will that come up in the Vin Number?

I took the V-8 Endurance badges off when instlling the Bushwacker Fender Flares...used a hot air gun switched to low and a plastic putty knife...go slow and gently push the plastic putty knife under the badge and pull or push gently...it's easy....for the stickers.as one suggested..get it started with your finger and gently pull...don't use the razor blade....remove with goo gone or WD-40..when done..wax the area and wa-lah!!!
At trade-in time you know the buyers will depreciate for the replacement of the decal!

Has anyone ever tried to salvage the decals by putting them on a piece of paper made for adhesives?

My XE has the 4x4 decals, and I am pretty sure that it does not have the off road package. Maybe the stealer put it on when they applied some pin-striping. I wish I had the off road package, if for nothing else, the wheels. I do not like the XE wheels and when I save some money up, I plan on upgrading.
