Looking for suggestions on removing the 4 x 4 and/or offroad decal on truck. Yes some may wonder why you would want to remove the decal, call me old and conservative, no bling bling.
SOPs are the hairdryer/heat gun trick, application of goo gone or other adhesive removal with a steady hand on the razor blade . Want to know what options are available.
Yeah, Ditto on the hair dryer...a little heat helps a lot. Just peel up a corner with your fingernail (no razorblades)...take your time, and they will peel off in one piece.

Why would you want to get rid of the decals? To me, that's part of the truck you bought. If you didn't want that stuff, you should have bought a Titan that wasn't equipped that way in the first place. :-)

Let's see now...Maybe he wanted the e-locker, but thinks that the decals are tacky, or that they will crack and peel later anyway.
Maybe he will want to go with bigger tires and a lift...but that would be a personal thing too. Maybe he won't like the bling bling chrome bumpers and want to trade with an XE driver. And who knows...he might not like the stock wheels...but he had to buy the dammmmmed things anyway, (even though he didn't want them), and now he is going to sell them and buy $2400 worth of 22" wheels to go offroading with his new Titan.
Or maybe it is just because "Some people's kids just do the darnedest things"!
Recently, we needed to remove our company logo stickers off of a work truck to get it ready to sell, so we used a blow dryer while peeling the stickers off and then used Goo-Gone to remove any left-over adhesive residue. No damage to the paint afterwards.

I have removed several pinstriping before , and a heat gun/ hair-dryer works great. Any adhesive remover will remove excess glue easily, then dont forget to wax that spot because the adhesive remover will also strip all of your wax job right off.
I have a question along those lines...I'd like to remove the V8 emblems from the front fenders. Would the hair dryer work for those too? Yeah, I'm wierd...I just prefer the "uncluttered" look. Besides, if they can't tell it's a V8 by that beautiful Flowmaster exhaust note, something's wrong with them!

Dmax, You can remove all of that type of badging by sliding dental floss or fishing line behind the emblems and pulling/sawing them off. A little WD-40 will aid in the removal, and also helps take the tape residue off.
Never use a heat gun on a painted surfcae unless you have done it before. You will blister the paint in a second. A hair dryer is much safer for the surface.
