Titan repair and maintenance

How difficult is it to work on a Titan? I've worked on Nissan Z cars (280, 90-96 ZX) and Jeep CJs. I've replaced engines, transmissions, etc..., but done very little in the way of rebuild. My '90 Nissan 300ZX is a bear to work on - you have to be underneath it for almost everything, and everythings packet in tight. Can anyone out there give me a level of difficulty?

Also, how about documentation? The Jeep CJ Factory Service Manuals are excellent, going into detail on everything you'd ever need to do to a Jeep. The Nissan 300 ZX Factory Service Manual, however, leaves much to be desired. It's left as an exercise to the user to figure out how to get to some of tighter fitting components. No after-market service manuals were made for the 90-96 Nissan 300ZX line. How do the Titan Factory Service Manauls stack up? Are any after-market manuals available yet?

Thanks,
Michael

Welcome to the forum, Michael!

The Titan is very easy to change the oil in, which is about the
only service most of us have attempted ourselves. With all the
Titans still covered by warranty, I don't you are going to see
much yet in regards to home repair.

There are multiple threads on member installed mods, many with
pictures, so search away at your heart's content. There is also
a technical discussion area with a "how to" section. Just click on
"forums" in the upper left of your screen.

If you can't find the info you need, post a thread on it, and someone
will more than likely reply.

Steve
