how to set the tire pressure sensor to read on display?
I have a 04 cc le with nav. I know there is a tire pressure sensor readout... unfortunately it is not showing up... the truck had chrome rims on it before i bought it off the lot, but i took that chrome rim option off, and got the originals on, but cannot get the sensor to read. I was wondering if there was a way i can do this without having to take it to the dealer (i read too much horror stories here). Thanks in advance to whoever can help me on this.
Describe the problem...are you only getting **PSI...if so...are you moving. I know you have to top some speed, I think 20mph before you will get a reading.

What shows on your nav screen?
Push trip I think it's 4 times and you should get the maintenance screen, then use the control to view tire pressure. if you've got "xxxx" for the read out, drive for a few miles and the tire pressure reading should come up for you.
Hope this helps you.

it shows **PSI... even when i drive it. I am definitely assuming, since the dealership originally had the 18inch chrome wheel optional package they had, (it showed **psi even on those)... and i had them take off that 1500 package to put back to the original silver rim. (which probably wasnt what came originally on the car from the factory. so i am assuming there got to be a way to reset the nav to accept the sensors new sensors... =( i dont want to go to the dealership... =(
Could they have just not put the sensors back in. I have no idea exactly how it works so if that's a dumb question, just thwap me or something. I don't think you are going to have a choice about the stealership.
Yep I agree, go to the stealership's shop and get it fixed. I have to say some where they either were damaged or going from the one set of rims to the other they didn't do something right.. Instead of looking to figure it out, let them fix their mess up. I think we all are going to have to spend some time there at one point to get something fixed, hate to say it but I think it will happen, recalls and new car probs.
if they changed the rims thay probably did not put the sensors back. My feeling is if you deleted the chrome rim option all they did was take stock rims off another titan and put them on your and then put the chrome ones that were on yours on a lot vehicle, and who knows if the truck they go the stock rims from has sensors. Dealers are stupid and would have no f in clue what is going on
