How do you remove door handle covers?

Trying to switch my chromies for the blacks, while they are still on the truck.

I bought the black covers and the fellow sent me the whole opening mechanim, so I managed to get those ones off w/o too much hassle, however cannot get the chrome covers off the handles while they are still on the truck to do the switch. Any tips?? Thanks.

( I know I know, real exciting thread).

I changed mine for the chrome ones they will come off you just need a small standard screw driver to pry them off with. Just be carefull you dont break anything. I had a harder time getting the chrome ones off than i did the black. the chrome ones must be made of a harder substance, they dont bend as easy as the black one's did.
