K&N FIPK

Hello Titan owners, this is my first post. Has anyone bought/installed the K&N FIPK 63-1088 for the Titan? Was there an acceleration increase and gas mileage increase? Still deciding between the Volant and K&N intake kit. Thanks

I have the K&N on 4 vehicles, although I don't know the part #.
I have never seen a increase in the gas mileage. Your gas mileage will proably go down when you first put it on because it is hard to keep your foot out of it. I feel there is an increase in throttle response, although this is hard to quantify.
Do a search and you will find dyno results which will show you where your power gains occur and how much the hp increases. I feel that you need some type of exhaust to compliment the intake for the best results. For me the K&N is $250 well spent.I have no experience with the volant, except what I have read on this forum.

if you are going to buy a intake, buy the new (6012-kp) it is designed differently, has bigger filter also. i can't tell much difference between, my factory mod, and the K&N, other than it makes more noise. even after 400miles, the K&N still did not respond as well on the low end. that's my experience.
