My latest rattle/noise is like pebbles constantly hitting underneath the truck. It's driving me nuts. I've just about had it with this truck. Maybe Ford will give me a descent trade in.

That sounds like the same noise they were trying to find when they wrecked my truck. I don't guess I'll ever know where it was coming from now.

I dont get a rattle but a back to back ping. one in the front and one in the back of the undercarrige. kind of like someone plucking a small spring. This happens when the truck is put in drive and rolled 10-20 ft. I can put it in park and restart the truck and reproduce it. The service mgr test rode with me and said that it was the ABS resetting itself each time. ideas?

Exclamation vibration/rattle coming from exhaust

was at the dealer repair shop today for another reason when I mentioned to the head tech/mechanic that I had a new rattleing soise coming from underneath area. He said he had last week read a TSR that the noise was probably coming from the header/exhaust area.

I know this is probably too obvious, but just in case, check for small pebbles stuck in the guards underneath/exhaust if you think it's possibly causing this noise. I've had small pebbles in the exhaust guards drive me nuts.
