How do you get the headlights apart?

How do you get the head lights apart, I'm wanting to paint the reflector on the inside..

Several TT members have done this. I believe they baked the lights in an oven for a while until the sealant got gooey. Then they pried them apart. Carefully.

be careful when you bake them, I got heat cracks in my headlight and i couldn't pry them off, I ended up cutting the back housing and slipping the refector out and then plastic welding it back up, i wouldn't recommend my way, just keep a close eye when your baking.

try a heat gun or a blow dryer that get hot. and use a nail file or a pocket knife. be careful when you reseal because it it isn't perfect, they will fog up when you wash the truck.

i did this to my Accord back in the day.
