steves - are you sure it was just mud on the boot that made the footprint? Mud alone definately shouldn't stain the liner.

Maybe something smaller than a deck brush would work better for you to concentrate the elbow work into a smaller area. For mud, it should only take soap, water and elbow grease. Or if you don't mind putting up with it for a while, I'm sure it'll wear off eventually. Let us know what works for you.

I'm pretty sure that it's mud. I suspect it got in the bed when they did the final detail before delivery since it also had grease stains on the headliner. I'm not sure what else it would be.

Definitely cruise the dealer if the marks were there when you got the truck. There's no telling what it might be.

Next time try laying the tailgate down and driving like hell down the road at high speed. Anything that's left, well I don't know. Good luck DC.

bed stains

I had some stains in my bed and I spent about an hour with a grill brush (charcoal grill brush to clean off the racks) some soap/water and lots of elbow grease. It worked pretty well. I am going to try it again this weekend.
When I am moving mulch/dirt, I took some wood and cut it to fit in the bed. Then I don’t have to worry about messing up the UT tracks or bedliner.

Well, i washed it again today, and whatever it was seems mostly gone. It seems like the bed liner really likes to gather pollen on it. I guess I just need to expedite my purchase of a cover.
