Take the 2004 versions in and demand that they at least look at the problems. An early 05 could still have a build date in 2004, and could still have the problems noted in the TSB's.

These are current direct from Nissan. If it doesn't include 2005's on a specific TSB, it's because Nissan said so. Wish I could be more help.

I'm interested in the bedliner TDB since my dealership can't figure it out and the local Rhino liner franchise says they can't fix the problem my local boys have just thrown their hands in the air and gave up...

Re: TSB's (in .PDF format)

I got a call today from Nissan about a recall on my 04, naturally they didn't know what the hell it was about and were less then helpful. I'm scheduled to take it in on wednesday and hope to know why before then...

i'm wondering about this too. can you only get the TSB's done if you are under warranty? my warranty expires in less than 3 weeks...

Re: TSB's (in .PDF format)

are these up to date and complete (I see it's been a while since the last one was posted)?

also... what does the TSB mean exactly. i mean, i know what it stands for... but on these TSB's, are they something that the dealer is required to replace/repair even if it's not broken? or does something actually have to be wrong for them to fix?

At www.nissanhelp.com the TSB (technical service bulletin) are pretty much up to date. A TSB is unlike a "recall", sometimes it's a known problem that seems to come up a lot, so they put it out there. Usually only cover while still under warranty. A recall usually has to do with safety, is mandated by the feds so it will get fix no matter if you're under warranty or not.

but if you're still under warranty... will they fix a TSB no matter what, or does it actually have to be broken for it to be repaired?

I guess it would need to be broken or it has to meet the "standard" when they do test. If it's not broken one would not know there's a problem. Let just say the AC condenser hose leak, if it's not leaking and the carpet is not wet, why would one ask for a fix, ect....
