Cleaning Tinted windows and windshield

What is the best way to clean the inside of your tinted windows and also to clean the streaks on the inside of the windshield? I and my niece and nephew have managed to get smudges on every window. What is safe and unsafe for tint?

Honestly I've used just about every glass cleaner in the book, and they all leave streaks. :-/ I always end up having to go over them once again with a clean towel to rub out the streaks. Best cleaner I've used is Stoner's, however thats a foam and can get rather messy so I normally use Mother's.

As Seerex above, nothing with ammonia for tint, however most glass cleaners at auto stores are fine (they should advertise "tint-safe" on bottle).

I haven't had tint put on this machine yet but in the past I have found that basic damp cloth followed by a dry one works just fine.
On the windshield I get the glass out in the sun, let it get warm and do the same thing.

Stoner's Invisible Glass is in a can, but not a foam...it works great if used with a lint-free towel. I love this stuff and will never go back to windex or other cleaners.

Seerex is right... This sounds crazy but yields awesome results... Windex brand cleaner (or other, high quality window cleaner) and newspaper. Do it in the shade and don't use pages with color, just the black&white pages. Don't attempt this on the drivers or passengers side window if they have film tint on them. For the film tinted windows auto parts stores have the lint free, soft, rags and cleaners for plastic windows like on a Jeep top or convertable. I'll use Meguirs Quick Detail (also known as 66) on film tint as well. Seems to work well and has no ammonia.

Bounty paper towels for me. First clean with Windex and Bounty, then wipe away streaks with clean, dry Bounty.
If I'm in a hurry, just a very damp microfiber cloth.

I used to use the Stoners stuff but still had streaks.

Now I use Eagle One 20/20 Perfect Vision Glass Cleaner. Ammonia-Free and safe for tinted winders.

I use either a paper towel or microfiber.

There are automotive glass cleaners that are marked as safe for tint. I've used Armor All glass cleaner on a truck that's been tinted for 5 year, no ill effects.
Is Windex amonia free? I know I get a whiff of that stuff and it clears out my nostrils!
