First, you can choose to whatever kind of switch and lights you want. I ran my power wire directly from the battery to the hole behind the hinge up through the hood to both of the lights. The first pic is where the wire goes into the hood and the second is where I mounted the lights. I am going to change the lights because I chose to use a mercury switch and it works by making and breaking the ground connection and the lights are already grounded by the screws. All of the holes I used except for the screws in the lights are already in the hood. I chose to solder all of my connections and use shrink tubing on that to make a good connection. Next you mount a mercury switch about midway up the hood in one of the two small holes and pop the plastic clips from the insulation under the hood to run one of the wires to the ground side of the lights and the other wire from the switch goes to ground somewhere. You could choose to use a manual switch like the pic below or a Hood Pin Switch in the hole beside the battery but I like the mercury switch. The mercury switch run me about $6.00 and I've seen the hood pin switches on the internet for under a dollar. So all you need are some lights (your choice) and some wire. First time I've done this so any suggestion or something I forgot, or questions just let me know.
