Great writeup! definatly sticky worthy. The grillcraft grill looks good. I wanted it but stillen only had the streat sceen one that mounts a little cheasy. no screws just aligator clips and bluddy fingers lol
This is great! Just put in a billet grill but I'm having a hell of a time putting the finished unit back on the truck! Is there a trick to using the factory clips and/or is there aftermarket clips that are easier to use?
Putting it back was the easy part. Just remove the clips from the truck & reinstall the clips on the grill frame - they should twist/snap in place easily. Then just line up the clips with the holes and push the grill in place ! Make sure you installed the plastic deflectors on the ends of the grill before reinstalling it, you cannot get them on (no room) once the grill has been mounted.
