Exclamation HID trouble HELP!

So my passenger side HID bulb turns on 1 in every 6 times I turn on my lights or so. I'm talking to the people that I bought them from and they will replace it, but they want me to check the polarity. I have no idea how to do that. Do any of you? Also, maybe this is the same as polarity, but he says that the ballast may not be getting enough power and that would be why it doesn't turn on. If that isn't the same as polarity, how do I do that? Thanks in advance.

Polarity will be the + and -. He sounds he wants you to make sure that they are not reversed.

How is it wired up? Through a relay or it one that just plugged into your factory light harnass?

I too purchased a set of HID's on ebay and the same thing happened to mine. I had the auto lights and I would have to turn the lights off and on to get both of them going. Your polarity is probably not switched, seeing that all the kits I see on the market are plugged into the oem wiring harness. With that said, send them back and get another ballast. I just ordered another set from a different guy on ebay for my new Titan, hopefully this won't happen again. This is the problem with the China stuff....

Re: HID trouble HELP!

Thanks guys. It can't be the polarity because there is only one way to hook them up and that is using the factory wiring harness. I'm going to send them in and they'll replace it. Thanks for help.
