Re: Radiator Removal Lots of pics and step by step
MODS! This should be a sticky! Our trucks are not getting any newer and more of us will be having radiator problems as long as the stock rads are still in operation. I just put in the Stillen all aluminum radiator and it is SUPER! I only have very minor fitment issues, but the whole experience would have sucked if I hadn't searched and found this post. Great job!

Man this was great, thanks you saved me a ton of money, I don't work on cars that much but always trying to find ways to save money especially if i can do it myself and this was very helpful.
I did not use the $540 dollar replacement from Nissan i went to NAPA and they ordered it for about $220.
2 quick references
Step #3 when taking out the radiator shroud at the bottom of it after releasing the clips it comes out in two pieces, i know a lot of you guys know this but mine was out of the clips to the main support and i was still banging my head about how to get it out of there , from around the fan lol, then i saw the other set up clips also at the bottom , then when pressed it separates it into two pieces and out it comes easy as pie.
And the other thing is please ensure you cap off the hose that comes in from the transmission, you should only use the Nissan trans fluid to keep from damaging your trans and its $16.00 per quart here in ATL
But this was a definite blessing thanks again for the awesome helpful post

Too funny. I could've written this EXACT post when I did mine before I sold it last month - bought it at NAPA too.
Short story: A buyer followed me to my house to look at it, and the radiator "blew" RIGHT as I pulled into the driveway. 3 days later I replaced it myself and they had a brand new radiator on their ride.
Though I don't miss the MPGs, I do miss my Armada...
