For those who are interested in removing the front emblem and keep the look of the factory grille, this mod is for you. It's easy and very inexpensive.
Tools:
hand saw
sand paper
epoxy
Step 1: Have a fellow Titan owner give you their grille scraps from their grille mod. Only the outer grilles scraps are needed for this mod.
Step 2: Cut out emblem from your grille.
Step 3: Cut out the usable portion from the scrap pieces. I split it into 3 pieces.
Step 4: Attach the 3 pieces to your grille.
*I haven't glued the pieces to the grille yet. I'll post the pics when finished.

WOW!! for the last 5 years i have contemplated doing this and wondering just how i could do it. a lot of careful plastic trimming ehhh?
great job n2titan!!! i have always loved the stock grille versus all the ghey-looking aftermarket crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!! reason i still have my stock grille!
VERY nice! Do you still need my grille pieces or did you get another one?
Im working on my custom grille right now.. pics will be up when i get a little deeper into it.
I ended up taking it from my current grille so I won't be needing your scraps. Maybe another fellow Titan owner might want it. Thanks for the initial offer and I can't wait to see your project!

Thanks man! Yeah, just alot of careful trimming. I think the stock grille fits the truck the best. Aftermaket grilles look too small and have no depth.
Not to hi-jack your thread by any means, you did an awesome job! And I may find myself doing the same, but I'll probably have mine painted dark red to match my truck!
I've always liked the honeycomb grill and on my Dodge I took it one step farther, I spray painted mine chrome. I was going to go chrome plated, however the chrome spray paint was more "natural" to the gray color of my Dodge. I did two coats of chrome, then a fine clear coat to protect it. It lasted through a tough winter and many offroad trips in Jersey and still looked as good as the day I did it!
I think the mesh grille was purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot. I bought 3 pieces. Just remember to paint both sides of the mesh grille. I painted only one side and now the other side is rusted.
