Re: cleaning windshield washer fluid nozzle

You could try running a long, thin needle in the nozzle to break up the clog. If that doesn't clear it, then you may have to get into the line that runs the fluid.

Re: cleaning windshield washer fluid nozzle

Maybe let some vinegar soak on it?

Or try OneQuick's idea and use a needle. It's worked on past cars for me... You can usually re-aim the nozzle with a needle too.

Yea, in that case. You may have pluggage in somewhere in the tubing itself.

Any luck on this? I'm curious as to how this works out, for future reference.

Re: cleaning windshield washer fluid nozzle

remove the fluid line from the nozzle and determine if the blockage is at the nozzle or somewhere upstream of the nozzle.

Re: cleaning windshield washer fluid nozzle

I had the same problem I popped the tube off and used a can of dust off and blew it through the line... worked perfect the second time...(first time i blew it towards the windshield and the clog had no where to go.

Re: cleaning windshield washer fluid nozzle

you have to pop off the cowl on that side to get the nozzle off. you can probably just remove the retainer under the hood corner, and then remove the ones along the seal under the hood, and tilt up the cowl enough to get to the bottom of the nozzle. I would just undo the hose first and have someone hit the washer button to see if anything comes out. if it does you know its the nozzle. you should be able to pinch the clips and pop it out.
