Now you can see the difference between the two...
supposedly, either one is fine.

I ALWAYS do my own oil changes. I'll wait for a Saturday morning, drain the oil till it's barely dripping, and continue on...

When the oil is hot all of the metals are in suspension and will come out the drain as opposed to if it's cold. And yes it will drain better too....
