ya i'm waiting for a friend of mine to tell me how they are in the snow. its supposed to snow sat night maybe. i'm trying to keep that in mind as well. mt's aren't really made for snow.
I love the looks of the Cepek FCII but I havent heard anyone on here talk about them. So I dont how they do in mud, snow, and rain. I do see all the lifeguard trucks on the Outer Banks NC have them. So I assume they do well in sand. I hope to get these tires after my lift if I hear good reviews about them.
I have Duratracs and love them. Had them off road a lot and they are unstoppable. Haven't tried them in snow yet but they do have the snow flake symbol on them which apparently means they are good in snow and they have places to put metal studs in them. Quiet and good ride too.

I love my Pro Comp Xtreme A/T. They have been the best all terrain I have owned.
Tire tread is deep enough to take care of snow mud and sand, yet it is still an A/T.
Not as aggressive, or as soft, as a true mud terrain.
E rated for all my towing needs.
I got 70,000 on my last set...
my buddy runs toyo mt in the snow and he loves them. procomps are not on the list unfortunatly, i love the extreme at. i'm leary about goodyear. the stockers sucked and wore out in 20k, so i dunno how i really feel abotu goodyear to be honest.

Most OEM tires have poor treadlife. The aftermarket BFG A/T KO is known for its long tread life, (it's not uncommon to hear of 50-60k miles out of them), but their Rugged Trail all-season tires that came stock on the '04-'07 Off Road package, are known for going bald at under 25k miles. [A few get good life on them and the SRA too]. The stock size Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor, even have a 50k mile warranty in their LT version, as well as their P version. [In the 18s they do have the LT325/60R18]. Dura-Tracs don't have a tread wear warranty, but shouldn't be rejected based on anyones SRA experience alone. Long term, they might end up being junk ... but maybe not.
For a MT in a 35 or LT315/70R17, I'd probably go for the new Nitto Trail Grappler, (same basic tire as a Toyo M/T, but a little less expensive), or the BFG KM2 which ranks really good for both light and deep snow traction, as well as not bad for ice. I'd get aftermarket siping for any tire though ... really helps in the rain.
For an A/T the Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 comes in a LT315/70R17 so I might try it. The Bridgestone Revo2 also is available in this size. They get great rankings for winter, but probably have a soft tread compound, since Revos seem to have a poor tread life reputation. The BFG AT might be a good choice if you get them siped. When I ran them un-siped, in the rain they were good until they hit their last 1/4 of tread. In the 315 size I think that the new E load rated version has the mountain/snowflake symbol. The D load rated ones don't, and were an OEM hummer design.
Yeah don't base the GoodYear's off of the factory ones Nissan gets what they pay for which is cheapest as possible.... I think you will be happy with the Dura's.., www.offroaders.com
Go to that website they review all the off road type style tires...
